Spread the Bagel is Back at New Pop-Up on Xiangyang Lu

Earlier this month we reported that a number of shops along Nanchang Lu had boarded up, including Spread the Bagel. While we were sad to learn that one of our go-to bagel shops closed, we were happy to learn that they will reopen after the street’s upgrades are complete.

But still… we need our bagels!

Today, we happily report that Spread the Bagel is back at a pop-up shop at Gracie's/Al's Diner on Xiangyang Lu – just one block away from the STB shop. The pop-up will be open daily from 8am-8pm. And if you’re feeling lazy you can once again order from Spread the Bagel on Sherpa's and Meituan.

Here's what Christine, Spread the Bagel's founder, had to say about the future of the STB shop:

“Nanchang Lu is undergoing renovations at the moment so we have to close for a few months. We’re excited about reopening on an improved street… In the meantime, you can find our bagels at our wholesale partner locations all throughout Shanghai. And to satisfy that STB bagel sandwich craving, we’re doing a pop-up at Gracie’s on Xiangyang lu right around the corner from STB! Look forward to seeing the same best-sellers from our New York Style menu, and pair it with the best ice cream in the city.”
